About Mike

Executive Coach. Leadership at Inflection Points.

You’re at a point where the stakes are real and the usual answers aren’t working. You have people who report to you, people you report to, and very few people you can think out loud with. That’s the work I do. I’ve spent nearly two decades in senior HR and operations leadership, sitting in the room where the hardest people and business decisions get made. For the last decade I’ve also coached leaders through exactly these moments, using an evidence-based approach to how leaders grow and change.

Mike Salemme – My Story

My work joins two things most coaching keeps separate: the practical demands of leading, and the identity underneath it. Titles change faster than people do. The real work of a transition isn’t learning a new competency; it’s becoming the person the new role requires while staying someone you recognize. I use evidence-based assessments and structured feedback to make that work concrete, not abstract. And I tell you the truth. That’s the part clients come back for. You already have people who agree with you. What you need is someone with no stake in your ego and a clear view of your blind spots.

Why Work With Me?

Most executive coaches have studied leadership. I’ve lived it. Across nearly two decades in HR and operations leadership, I’ve sat at the table where the hardest people and business decisions get made. When you describe the pressure you’re under, I’m not imagining it. I’ve felt it from the same side of the table.

That experience shapes how I coach. We work on real situations, not hypotheticals. I bring evidence-based assessments and structured feedback so the work stays concrete. And I tell you the truth, including the parts that are hard to hear. You already have people who agree with you. What you’re missing is someone with no stake in your ego and a clear view of your blind spots.
